    Two-Stage Vehicle Routing Problems with Profits and Buffers: Analysis and Metaheuristic Optimization Algorithms

    This thesis considers the Two-Stage Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) with Profits and Buffers, which generalizes various optimization problems that are relevant for practical applications, such as the Two-Machine Flow Shop with Buffers and the Orienteering Problem. Two optimization problems are considered for the Two-Stage VRP with Profits and Buffers, namely the minimization of total time while respecting a profit constraint and the maximization of total profit under a budget constraint. The former generalizes the makespan minimization problem for the Two-Machine Flow Shop with Buffers, whereas the latter is comparable to the problem of maximizing score in the Orienteering Problem. For the three problems, a theoretical analysis is performed regarding computational complexity, existence of optimal permutation schedules (where all vehicles traverse the same nodes in the same order) and potential gaps in attainable solution quality between permutation schedules and non-permutation schedules. The obtained theoretical results are visualized in a table that gives an overview of various subproblems belonging to the Two-Stage VRP with Profits and Buffers, their theoretical properties and how they are connected. For the Two-Machine Flow Shop with Buffers and the Orienteering Problem, two metaheuristics 2BF-ILS and VNSOP are presented that obtain favorable results in computational experiments when compared to other state-of-the-art algorithms. For the Two-Stage VRP with Profits and Buffers, an algorithmic framework for Iterative Search Algorithms with Variable Neighborhoods (ISAVaN) is proposed that generalizes aspects from 2BF-ILS as well as VNSOP. Various algorithms derived from that framework are evaluated in an experimental study. The evaluation methodology used for all computational experiments in this thesis takes the performance during the run time into account and demonstrates that algorithms for structurally different problems, which are encompassed by the Two-Stage VRP with Profits and Buffers, can be evaluated with similar methods. The results show that the most suitable choice for the components in these algorithms is dependent on the properties of the problem and the considered evaluation criteria. However, a number of similarities to algorithms that perform well for the Two-Machine Flow Shop with Buffers and the Orienteering Problem can be identified.     Electroweak phase transition in the economical 3-3-1 model

    We consider the EWPT in the economical 3-3-1 (E331) model. Our analysis shows that the EWPT in the model is a sequence of two first-order phase transitions, SU(3)→SU(2)SU(3) \rightarrow SU(2) at the TeV scale and SU(2)→U(1)SU(2) \rightarrow U(1) at the 100100 GeV scale. The EWPT SU(3)→SU(2)SU(3) \rightarrow SU(2) is triggered by the new bosons and the exotic quarks; its strength is about 1−131 - 13 if the mass ranges of these new particles are 102 GeV−103 GeV10^2 \,\mathrm{GeV} - 10^3 \,\mathrm{GeV}. The EWPT SU(2)→U(1)SU(2) \rightarrow U(1) is strengthened by only the new bosons; its strength is about 1−1.151 - 1.15 if the mass parts of H10H^0_1, H2±H^\pm_2 and Y±Y^\pm are in the ranges 10 GeV−102 GeV10 \,\mathrm{GeV} - 10^2 \,\mathrm{GeV}. The contributions of H10H^0_1 and H2±H^{\pm}_2 to the strengths of both EWPTs may make them sufficiently strong to provide large deviations from thermal equilibrium and B violation necessary for baryogenesis.Comment: 17 pages, 9 figure

    A nonlinear concrete damaged plasticity model for simulation reinforced concrete structures using ABAQUS

    The reinforced concrete structure is typical and widely used in many fields. The behavior of concrete is nonlinear and complex. Especially, when cracks/crushings occurred in softening phase. Thus, It is important to find a damaged model of concrete with high reliability in the numerical simulation. The nonlinear behavior of concrete is the most feature used in the simulation. This characteristic is expressed through the parameters defining the yield surface, the flow potential, and the nonlinear relationship of stress-strain in the cases of tension and compression. This paper introduces a damaged concrete model that applies to the simulation of reinforced concrete structures. The reinforced concrete beam and flat slab are selected as examples to evaluate the reliability of the model presented. Through the results achieved, the model used in this paper shows high reliability and can be used to simulate more complex reinforced concrete structures

    International audienceThis paper proposes a model for building a flexible system, which accepts and verifies the change on business logic, including both business processes and business rules, while the system has to cover the properties as reliability and reuse. In this model, the business process will be designed with Colour Petri Net and translated into a set of Event-Condition-Action rules, this set will be combined with business rules for checking the respect of a business process to the business rules in design and modifying the process. Hierarchical Colour Petri Net is also used to guarantee the reliability and to reuse properties of the system.Ce document propose un modèle pour la création d'un système flexible, qui accepte et vérifie les modifications apportées à la logique métier, y compris les processus et les règles métier, tandis que le système doit couvrir les propriétés en termes de fiabilité et de réutilisation. Dans ce modèle, le processus de gestion sera conçu avec un réseau Pétri coloré et traduit en un ensemble de règles Event-Condition-Action (ECA). Cet ensemble sera combiné à des règles de gestion permettant de vérifier le respect du processus de gestion par modifier le processus. Un réseau Pétri coloré hiérarchisé est également utilisé pour garantir la fiabilité et pour réutiliser les propriétés du systèm

    The financial strategy towards 2030 in Decision no. 368/QD-TTg enacted on 21/3/2022 by the Vietnam Prime Minister had set developmental goals for the stock market to become a channel to promote mid-and-long term capital raising for the economy, to continue changing the structure to be more appropriate for the monetary, the capital, the stock, and the bonds market. In the past two years, the stock market in Vietnam has manifested impressive growth. A prime example is the active growth of private investors. However, many challenges and loopholes still exist in the stock market. The stock market is a special market as the fluctuation of the VN-index index is affected by many factors including the expectations of the investor. When the market shows trends of increases in points then investors expect the next session to grow as well, leading to a rise in sales even for stocks with inflating costs, thus the VNindex will increase and vice versa. The structure of the econometric is utilized to assess the impacts of the VN-index of the previous month on the index of the following month on the Vietnamese stock market in the period from January 2019 to May 2022. The conclusion of the quantitative analysis shows that if the VN-index of the previous month increases by 1% then the VNindex of the following month will increase by 0.965% or vice versa.     THE FACTORS AFFECT CONSUMERS’ INTENTION TO PURCHASE ECO-FRIENDLY BAGS IN HAIPHONG CITY

    This research focuses on understanding the factors that influence consumers' intention to purchase environmentally friendly bags in Hai Phong City. There are 5 factors proposed to be included in the research model. However, with the collected data from 328 Hai Phong consumers tested using the SMARTPLS software, the testing results showed that 3 factors positively influence the intention to purchase environmentally friendly bags, which the factor with the greatest influence is "Expectations for a good life for future generations" (KVCS) (0.394), followed by the factor "Personal Image" (HACN) (0.219) and finally the factor "Attitude towards eco-friendly bags" (TD) (0.150). The results of testing the factors "Green Marketing Programs" (MX) and "Environmental Understanding" (HBMT) are not statistically significant enough to influence the intention to purchase environmentally friendly bags of consumers in Hai Phong City.
